Singing with the Band

Each summer the Manhattan Municipal Band performs a free concert in the bandshell in Manhattan City Park. The concert is held weekly in June and July and various guest performers join the band for a few musical selections. We have performed with the band for many years and it is a way of adding vocal music to an instrumental music concert.   The concert is attended by a wide audience of Manhattan and area residents that enjoy sitting on lawn chairs, bleachers, or blankets for a summer music event.
