Meet Kevin Roberts |
|
Kevin was born in Cedar Rapids and raised Williamsburg, Iowa, and chose to attend Iowa State University where he received both a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management. While at Iowa State, Kevin was recognized as the outstanding student of his college at VEISHEA, which is ISU's annual celebration of entertainment and education and is one of Iowa State's most cherished traditions. Kevin's interest in music stems from his high school days when he was active in choirs. He participated in show choir, men's choir, concert choir, all state choir and several area honor choirs. He also sang in a quartet that did a little barbershop and had the honor of singing at the Boys State High School basketball playoffs and Boys State wrestling tournaments in 1995 and 1996. That quartet also performed locally while it was active. Kevin's hobbies include singing, as well as karaoke when he has the time. He enjoys cooking, computers, and being outdoors. He maintains his Iowa roots by serving on the Iowa County fair board in his hometown. Welcome, Kevin, to the Little Apple Chorus, we hope to share many hours of singing and ringing chords with you. |
