I am pleased to introduce John even if he is a Tenor. John grew up in New England, and

college days majoring in music but interrupted his education to join the Army. While in the Army he completed his AA and BS degree from Eastern Kentucky University and also started his Masters in Personal Financial Planning from K-State. He has already started a campaign that only "real men" are Bari's ~ who said Bari's don't have a sense of humor or talent!

Brian and his wife Susan have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and are the parents of two children - Kori, a freshman at K-State and Christopher who is in Junior High in Wamego. The Wells family has made their home in Wamego.

In addition to Little Apple Barbershop Chorus, he is a member of Gideon's of Manhattan, VFW, DAV, BRO Society, AUSA (Chapter President), United States Cavalry Association (VP of Membership),

claims both Boston and Hartford as his hometown, depending on his mood. "I spent the first 14 years of my life in a Boston suburb, then the family moved to suburban Hartford when I was in middle school". After high school, John did his undergraduate work in Chicago, graduate school in Wisconsin (in chemistry), then spent two years in NYC as a "postdoc". He tried his hand as a tenure-track faculty member at Vanderbilt in Nashville, then spent some time in a position at UNL. In August 2001 he moved south 100 miles to his current job at Kansas State.

Since my exposure to the sciences has been limited, I have no idea what these folks are up to. So I quote John and let you all figure it out. "In my current job, I analyze departmental samples using X-ray crystallography. Depending on the quality of samples that I receive, I can return a molecular "snapshot" of the sample.
