bers of the show production team will work out the details of how we will use them in the show. I do hope all of you are planning on coming to the 2004 Installation Banquet on December 11th. This will be a special time, as we will be combining this year's Installation Banquet with our Holiday Activities. David Darling has done another splendid job at putting this event together. I know we can anticipate another well-planned event this year. I am sure you will not want to miss this event. The tickets are $10 |

The end of another Barbershopping year is right around the corner. Yet, it appears the chapter business is not slowing down at all. There are many things in the works for the chapter. Your Board is working diligently to attend to the business of the chapter. First things first, as some or many of you have probably heard by now, I have had to decline your election of me as your President for a second term. A combination of job and family obligations has placed me in a position where I do not feel I can devote the necessary attention to the chapter business. I deeply regret this decision even had to be made. It was a very difficult decision to be made. I do not wish for the membership to think that I have taken you vote of confidence lightly. The decision was made with the best interests of the chapter at heart. The Board has decided to purchase two riser chairs. We believe that this equipment will better serve members that have difficulty standing on the risers through an entire show. The purchase will be made in part with money dedicated in a memorial for Ray Sharp. We are well aware there may be more members in need of such accommodations. Decisions on further purchases will be made on an "as needed" basis. Mem |
