InCider Press, a monthly publication, is the official publication of the Manhattan, Kansas chapter of the Central States District (CSD) of the Society for Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). The Manhattan Chapter is the home of the Little Apple Barbershop Chorus. The chapter and chorus meet every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the First Methodist Church Activity Center on the corner of Poyntz and 6th Street, Manhattan, Kansas. |

each chorus member to do his very best. The superior results this year once again are a tribute to Ken's outstanding leadership. No annual show would be complete without a nationally ranked guest quartet. Bob Swenson, once again, arranged for the appearance of the 2001 Central States District Quartet Champions, The Noise Boys. The audience reveled to their special kind of "noise." |

The audience was also treated to the synergistic effect of the four finely tuned voices of the Sweet Adeline quartet, Harmonious Synergy, from the nearby Wamego Dutch Mill Sweet Adeline chorus. These four ladies brought the gazebo bandstand, created by Pat Caffey, to life with their rendition of "Bandstand in Central Park " and " The Band Played On." |
