GOOD WORK ON SHOW PROGRAM AD SALES
By Pete Cooper, Ad Chairman

In the weeks leading up to our April12 show I appealed to members at Chapter meetings and in this newsletter to make a strong effort to sell ads for our show program, trying to do a little bit better than we did last year.  I'm pleased to report that this appeal was answered.  Our ad income increased 6 percent over last year's.  This is a vital part of our Chapter income, so to the 28 members who sold the ads this year, well done!

Last year's sales leader was the team of Bill Lewis and the late Ray Sharp, who covered Clay Center businesses effectively with 34 ads sold.  This year Bill did a magnificent job of selling ads to these businesses by himself, and was the runaway leader in sales.  Next time you see him, tell Bill thanks for his work on behalf of all of us. for justification

SELL MORE TICKETS
By Don Thomson, Associate Musical Director

Thanks to Gary Mott for the great work on the show ticket distribution.  He generated a report that was pretty impressive.  You should ask to see it.  It is, however, pretty revealing.  Ninety per cent of the ticket sales were conducted by about ten per cent of our chapter members.  Next year we need to have everyone try to sell more tickets!
