Thursday evening, January 9, David Darling, chair of the Installation Banquet, welcomed 73 persons (38 members and spouses) to the Blue Hills Room Restaurant to celebrate the accomplishments of 2001 and to install the 2002 officers. Outgoing President Mike Shepherd thanked everyone for putting more into the chapter than they took for this made for a very good year. Award asked Mike to sign the certificate recognizing the winner of the award. Not a surprise to anyone present, Mike was the recipient of the BOTY award in recognition of his extraordinary efforts to the chapter during his years as president. Rodney Stanfield, Chapter Development VP welcomed Pete Pellegrin, chapter visitor, and gave a "Men of Note" pin to Jim Lindquist for recruiting (Continued on page 8) |
