The Manhattan Music Machine, the Apple Core Tet and The Charades quartets have been busy singing the past three months. Not only are they indirectly doing public relations for our Chapter, these men are spreading meaning and joy through the universal language of music. The Manhattan Music Machine caroled five times in December to different people and families. This month they helped a couple celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary at Harry's Uptown. The Apple Core Tet sang in December at the Konza Open house. Then in January, they sang at a funeral. The Charades has been singing overtime. They sang 10 pre-Christmas performances. In January, they sang for a couple of birthdays and on February 7 they sang for the Arts Council benefit. |
