Thanks for a Job Well Done

We are Glad you are Home

Richard Jackson was welcomed back from Iraq by chapter members at the opening of the meeting, Thursday, December 1.  When Richard arrived early, he saw Bill Bunyan and Harvey Kiser putting up a wall banner that said, “Welcome Back Richard Jackson, Thanks for Your Service.”

Richard joined Don Thomson as Don led the chorus singing “You are as Welcome as a Flower in May.”  Richard shared some of his experiences his transportation unit had while serving in the U.S. Army.  He had been serving this time in Iraq since last March, which was a second tour for him.

At break and refreshment time, John Trail served a decorated sheet cake that said ‘Welcome Back Richard’ around an icing photo of him in his truck.  Also, members signed his Welcome Banner.  Good to have you back and singing enthusiastically with us!
