Installation Banquet for 2004 Chapter Officers

Approximately 70 members and guests of the Little Apple Chorus gathered at the American Legion building in Manhattan on the evening of December 11 for the Installation Banquet for the 2004 Chapter Officers.

After a delicious dinner that was catered by Ram

blers, the outgoing president, Rodney Stanfield, made his final remarks to the Chorus as president.  Rodney was followed by the 2002 Barbershopper of the Year (BOTY), Mike Shepherd, who traveled from Des Moines, Iowa, to be on hand to present the 2003 BOTY award to Bart Bartholomew.

Barbershop chords filled the air as six different quartets and the entire chorus treated the audience to a variety of traditional barbershop tunes, Christmas carols and several numbers that are being developed for use in the Spring Show.

Thanks to David Darling for planning and coordinating the entire evening.
