The Night Before Christmas
                                                              Submitted by J. Lester Hooper

                Twas the night before Christmas and up on the roof,

                Old Dancer was restless and stamping his hoof.

                "This job's a bore," he said, "same every year . . . .

                Santa can visit while we wait out here!"

                Then all of a sudden the deer gathered round

                Up the chimney was coming a beautiful sound . . .

                For when Santa appeared down in that fireplace,

                He was greeted by three men crying, "Santa, sing bass!"

                The singing gave Dancer a wonderful thought;

                "There're eight of us here!  So Fellows, why  not?"

                So don't be surprised if you hear on your roof

                Instead of the pawing of each tiny hoof . . .

                There are eight voices singing a carol or two.

       It's the deer BARBERSHOPPING "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to you.
