I would like to thank various people who helped me with sets and props for our show. Bart Bartholomew took the photographs that he and I had purchased from a fifties memorabilia shop in California and converted them into precisely formatted digital files. Ken Brooks, using a high-tech digital plotter at the architect school, printed each photo into six sections. After Bart trimmed each section, Bart and I painstakingly merged the sections and glued them onto the six and one-half by eight-foot plywood panels that I had made - - - and, voila - - - five huge posters! Ken also made the label for the giant 45 rpm record. |

Paula made a number of the props. She and Mary Bartholomew helped with the planning as well as setting up the stage sets. Mary worked back stage to make sure the people got in the right places and had the right props on show day. Frank Carpenter provided the flag. Leo Dreiling provided the motorcycle. Bill Bunyan picked up and returned the plants from and to Blueville Nursery. Mike Sexton provided the truck and trailer to haul the jukebox, car, platforms, risers and various sets and props, including most of the stuff from my basement, to and from McCain Auditorium. |

Gene Klingler arranged to borrow the jukebox from Blaine Thomas of Thomas Sign Company. My wife Paula arranged to get the '57 Chevy golf cart from Jim Brandenberg at Manhattan Motors. |

Several guys helped move the jukebox, risers, platforms and other things on at least four different days and times or assisted in the set up of the stage Friday afternoon: I am operating from memory, so please excuse me if I have left someone's name out. The following people were on the moving crew at various times. Bart Bartholomew, Mary Bartholomew, Gene Klingler, Mike Sexton, Paula Caffey, Rob Caffey (my son), Ken Kirkendall, Tom Miles, Leo Dreiling, Steve Fisher, Terry Nanninga, Travis Troyer and Ken Brooks. I want to thank all of you for all the hard work. Sincerely, Pat Caffey |
