Chapter Treasurer, Bill Bunyan, has resigned effective in February 2008.  Bill, with help from his wife, Marilyn, has served the chapter for five years as treasurer.  Bill cited health issues as the reason for his resignation.

At Monday's board meeting Bob Swenson was selected to serve the chapter as treasurer.  Bob has served the chapter in nearly every office, most recently as Chapter President.

In other action, the board authorized the use of Pay Pal credit card processing system for sales of show tickets and other chapter services.  The first use of the system is to be singing valentines.

Don Thomson reported about the show planning.  The title will be "Come Celebrate".  Chuck Marr modeled a new purple vest which is being considered as a uniform enhancement to be worn in the show this year.  Don reported that he is planning to involve youth in the show with a group of young singers from Bergman Elementary School and possibly a youth quartet from the Kansas City area as guest performers.♪

In the last days, I thanked people for their support during my stay in the USA. I will leave Kansas on the second of January and before that I want thank you guys of the Little Apple Chorus, too.

I felt right away very welcome at the first meeting with you only a few days after my arrival; and the reason is so simple,: every single member was so friendly and welcome to me.

Over the year I had several interesting discussions with members and I really enjoyed Kansas City. I enjoyed your fantastic music and the chance to play with you. Keep it up guys!

So all what I have to say is: THANK YOU!
