Barbershoppers from all over Kansas presented a show at the Kansas state fair in the AT&T arena on September 9th.  Two of our members were on stage, Terry  Nanninga and Sam Kvasnica

When you get a chance to do two things on the same weekend that you really enjoy you need to go for it. Saturday morning, Karen, Alex, our exchange student, and I headed to Hutchison to do just that.

I joined with about 65 other barbershoppers in preparing to sing at the Great Kansas sing out at the fair. Barbershoppers from eleven chapters across Kansas meet in the 4-H encampment building and joined our voices to prepare nine songs to sing in the A.T.&T. arena. With our Central States President Don Fuson as MC we sang under three different directors. Sam Kvasnica was the only other Little Apple Member to enjoy this day. Oh, the other fun thing for this weekend, three of our grandkids live in Hutchison.
