Here is a second set acronyms.  These terms are used frequently in the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS).  Below are definitions in addition to those provided in last month’s InCider for better understanding about the Society.

ASCAP is a membership association of more than 300,000 U.S. composers, songwriters, lyricists, and music      publishers of every kind of music. ASCAP protects the rights of its members by licensing and distributing royalties for the non-dramatic public performances of their copyrighted works.  ASCAP's licensees encompass all who want to perform copyrighted music publicly.

AHSOW--Ancient And Harmonious Society Of Woodshedders—Barbershop Harmony Society subsidiary devoted to preserving the practice of harmonizing without arrangements; see Woodshedding

This newsletter was fun to put together.  I had plenty of articles, and some on them early on.  Thank you so much. It makes it so much easier.

There are a nice number of convention reports. You guys did an awesome job.  You worked hard and it paid off.  You sounded great.  Keep it up.  The audience at the spring show will notice the difference.

There is an article else where in this newsletter form our exchange student Alex.  He was impressed with city and the contest.  For those of you who don’t know Alex does know music, as he plays the cello very well.  I hope you can hear him before he leaves in January.

At the last board meeting they agreed to allow the ladies some space in the newsletter. So as was requested at our last meeting, Donna’s ham ball recipe is included.

Our last meetings coincided with Open house and we were royally entertained by the Charades as well as the chorus.  Ladies you are all invited to attend.  We meet on the second Thursdays while the guys are having their chapter meeting. Come join us.♪
