Two shows, fabulous instruction from barbershop’s best teachers, three nights lodging, and all meals are included in this price. Prices go up after July 15 so be sure to register soon. If you cannot make either the full week or the weekend, but still want to see the fabulous show on Saturday night, it is open to the public and you will be able to purchase tickets. For those CSD members who can and are planning to attend the whole week, that is wonderful. We know that these members will find more ways to enjoy our harmonies and new friendships. For other CSD members who can only afford to consider the weekend, Rick Spencer's note that follows outlines the great reasons to take advantage of the classes being offered during the shortened weekend curriculum. There is great learning to be experienced and the location is "right down the road" in our own St. Joseph, MO Thanks in advance for encouraging each chapter member in YOUR chapter to be involved with another great opportunity for the District within our Society.♪ |

Harmony University is returning to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO again this summer July 29-August 5, 2007. You will find great offerings in our Directors College, Harmony College, Quartet College, or the Weekend Session to meet any of your educational needs. The Society has been happy to work with your district leadership over the past two years to provide you with special opportunities as members of the Central States District. You will find these opportunities especially in our Weekend Session offering. Starting Thursday night, August 2, the Weekend Session students will combine with the full-week Harmony University students for the “Mid-term Bash,” followed by a special Opening Session just for the Weekend Session students. During the day on Friday and Saturday, choose from three sessions of classes each day, or quartet coaching, or bring your entire chorus for chorus coaching. Last year a chorus from CSD came and received coaching and they are returning again this year! The Friday night show will feature the popular Harmony College Chorus and the Parade of Quartets, and the Saturday night show will feature the Next Generation Chorus, the Directors College Chorus, the brand new Honors Chorus (under the direction of Dr. Jim Henry), |
