The latest barbershopper of the Month award was given to Steve Fisher at the regular chapter meeting on July 20th. This honor is well deserved by Steve for the great work he has done this year in leading our chapter from the music and performance V.P. position. This summer we have had a great time doing church performances on three different Sundays. The timing of these was laid out to get us from one to the other with great precision so we could sing and go to the next church. I have done some of this when we sang in the north area churches and it is not an easy task. In addition we had the Marshall County Historical Railroad performance in Waterville on Saturday, July 22nd, which took some time to work out the date and details. As most of you know Steve has also handled warm-ups at most of the chapter meeting since he has held this position. Thank you Steve from all the chapter members; you deserved this months award. My goal on Meet the Member articles was to do the board members first, so you could get to know your board a bit better. Well guys, soon now you will be asked for an article about yourselves and why you sing in barbershop. This is so we can get to know all of the members. ♪ Editor |
