The chapter and chorus meet  every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the First Methodist Church Activity Center
on the corner of Poyntz and  6th Street, Manhattan, Kansas.

At the Installation of officers celebration on 12-14-2006, Bill Hanson’s selection as Barbershopper of the Year for 2006 was announced by John Trail, BOTY for 2005.  Each year, the members of The Manhattan Chapter of Barbershop Harmony Society select their barbershopper of the year.  There are many reasons a specific person is chosen.   As for me, I have enjoyed being greeted each practice, I have seen how visitors have been put at ease, found a voice part to try and have current music to use.  Bill keeps a table with badges, information, and sign up sheets; then reminds us they are there.   Bill working with other members as Vice President of Chapter Development has helped Little Apple Chorus grow; adding new members almost every month.   I am sure the Little Apple Chorus members have made a super choice in their selection of Bill Hanson as BOTY of 2006
